AI Engineer – Trading / Treasury Focus

Job description

Mission:

·       Build and lead AI capability focused on agentic AI for trading / treasury

·       Deliver production-grade systems in regulated financial services environments

We are looking at  Architect / Principal Engineer level candidates who will be

·       Able to design systems end-to-end

·       Comfortable client-facing in Tier-1 bank environments

·       Potential to help build and lead a small AI team

Core Technical Requirements:

·       6–10+ years software engineering experience

·       2–4+ years building AI / LLM systems in production

·       Experience building agentic workflows (tool calling, orchestration, RAG)

·       Strong backend engineering (Strong in Python essential)

·       API integrations with enterprise systems

·       Experience with vector databases and structured retrieval

·       Cloud deployment (AWS / Azure / GCP)

·       Monitoring, logging and auditability experience

Financial Services Experience (Must Have):

·       Exposure to Front Office trading or Treasury

·       Understanding of risk / pricing systems integration

·       Experience in regulated environments (audit, compliance, governance)

·       Comfortable working with traders, quants and risk teams

Nice to Have:

·       Human-in-the-loop systems

·       Trading desk automation

·       LLM provider-agnostic architecture

·       Experience moving PoC to Production in enterprise environments
