Role Overview

The main focus of the role is data migration and reconciliation for accounting systems. The individual will work with large sets of data from external sources that may not be clean or compatible, and will be responsible for formatting and uploading this data into the firm’s accounting systems. They will then reconcile the uploaded data back to the original source files or other formats, ensuring accuracy throughout the process. A key part of the role is understanding how the data impacts the accounting system and downstream reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data migration and reconciliation for accounting systems.
• Work with large data sets from external sources that may not be clean or compatible.
• Clean, format, and prepare data for upload into the firm’s accounting systems.
• Upload data into the target accounting platforms.
• Reconcile uploaded data back to source files or other formats to ensure accuracy.
• Understand and manage how data impacts the accounting system and downstream reporting.

Required Experience

• Experience working with investment accounting systems, specifically Geneva and/or Investron.
• Background in alternative funds, particularly private credit and private equity.
• Solid experience in data migration, reconciliation, or fund operations.
• Around five years of relevant experience is sufficient.
• Understanding of how fund data impacts accounting systems and reporting.
• Proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and get stuck into tasks.
• Quick learner who can pick up systems and processes efficiently.
