Location: Midlands

A well-funded, leading industrial developer with an excellent market reputation is seeking a Development Manager to join its Midlands office. Macdonald & Company is working in exclusive partnership with the business on this appointment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across leasing, development, and new opportunity sourcing within a growing and well-established platform. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and a clear pathway to Development Director level for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for leasing enquiries across multiple regional schemes.
• Negotiate Heads of Terms and lease agreements.
• Manage occupier and agent relationships.
• Coordinate marketing materials and external consultants for individual schemes.
• Identify and help source new development and investment opportunities.
• Support the assessment of new opportunities, including market analysis and development appraisals.
• Maintain internal property databases and deliver detailed market research.
• Organise and attend industry and scheme-specific events.

About You

• Degree in Real Estate or a related field.
• c2–8 years’ experience in leasing, development, investment, asset management, or valuation.
• Experience negotiating HoTs and transactional documents.
• Strong commercial awareness, organisational skills, and stakeholder management ability.
• Established industry contacts appropriate to level of experience.
