Senior Pricing Manager

Job description

I am hiring a technical pricing candidate for a Senior Pricing Manager for a growing motor insurer.

As Senior Pricing Manager (Optimisation), you’ll lead retail pricing strategy across products and markets, owning complex pricing decisions end-to-end.

You’ll operate at senior manager level, influencing leadership, driving commercial outcomes, and raising pricing maturity across the business.

The Role -

• Define and execute retail pricing strategy with senior leadership
• Build proprietary price optimisation models (Python-based)
• Own end-to-end pricing for key products and initiatives
• Lead pricing for new propositions and market entries
• Deliver clear, data-driven commercial insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed pricing thinking
• Mentor and develop pricing talent

The Candidate -

• Extensive personal lines retail price optimisation experience
• Deep understanding of PCW trading dynamics
• Advanced Python modelling capability
• Strong commercial judgement and executive-level influence
• Experience improving pricing frameworks and governance
• Proven people leadership or coaching experience

Salary - up to £120,000

Location - London (once a week in the office)
