Latsco (London) Ltd., located in Central London (West End) and representing a fleet of Product and Crude Oil Tankers, LPG and LNG Carriers is looking to recruit a Commercial Operations Assistant, reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Support the Commercial Vessel Operators in the invoicing, collection of receivables, settlement of payables in systems and voyage accounting.
  • Assist in the monitoring and follow up of concluded charters on a post fixture basis including freight and demurrage.
  • Update voyage monitoring software and accounting software.
  • Support the Commercial Vessel Operators with the monitoring of the vessels' compliance with Charterparty obligations in respect of commercial aspects from start to finish, including pre-fixture, during and post-fixture.
  • Update EU ETS data, submit relevant reports and track the status of submitted reports.
  • Support due diligence related to sanction compliance through sanctions screening and KYC requirements verification by gathering the necessary information/documentation.
  • Liaise with insurance department for voyage related insurance declarations and ensure correct invoicing and proper entry into accounting system.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • A University degree in Maritime Studies or relevant field of studies is preferred
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a relevant position is preferred
  • Fluency in both written and oral communication in English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
  • Analytical skills, Customer focus, Proactiveness, Collaboration, Accountability.
