Consultant | Senior Consultant (HEOR) in Health Economic Modelling & Analysis Team
Location: Remote – Global (Preference: UK, Canada, US, India)
Join a a specialist HEOR, RWE, and market access consultancy that combines deep scientific expertise with data analytics and AI-enabled evidence generation to support healthcare decision making across the product life cycle.
We are seeking an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant with strong technical expertise in cost-effectiveness and budget impact modelling to join our expanding team.
The Role
You will:
- Lead or take accountability for cost-effectiveness, cost-consequence and budget impact models
- Develop health economic models from scratch (research, conceptualisation, implementation, validation)
- Adapt models for local HTA submissions and publications
- Present findings to clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to proposals, project budgets and business development
- Support publication and dissemination of research
- Mentor or line manage junior team members

✅ Essential Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience (Consultant) or 5+ years’ experience (Senior Consultant) in hands-on health economic modelling within consultancy or pharma
- Advanced degree in Health Economics, Economics, Statistics, Operational Research, Mathematics, Biostatistics or related quantitative field
- Strong experience developing models from scratch across disease areas
- Expertise in budget impact and early/late-stage cost-effectiveness models
- Experience adapting models for HTA submissions
- Strong understanding of decision tree, Markov, partitioned survival and multi-state models
- Advanced Excel skills (including VBA)
- Knowledge of survival analysis (particularly oncology modelling)
- Strong technical writing, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and HTA/reimbursement processes
⭐ Desirable
- R or Python experience
- Real-world data or survival analysis experience
- Discrete event simulation or infectious disease modelling
- HTA submission writing exposure
- Publication track record
- Business development experience
