Senior Consultant - AI Platform Deployment Engineer | Permanent | Fully onsite

• Salary: Up to £85,250
• Hybrid Model: 5 days on-site (for the first 6-months), the role will become nearly fully remote after the initial client project.

Job Summary:

My client, one of the UK's leading IT Solutions & technology services organisations, is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their cutting-edge, rapidly expanding delivery practice on a permanent basis.

For the first 6 months, you'll be working directly with one of the most prominent names in global Financial Services on a large AI deployment project. The successful candidate will act as a hands-on technical engineer, using their Python and PowerShell skills to integrate & deploy pre-configured AI models for Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deployment & integration of pre-configured AI Models using Python & PowerShell
• Hands-on deployment using Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI platforms, including model lifecycle management and integration into client workflows.
• Contribute to the upkeep of identity, access control, and security configurations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Python (strong hands-on) for deployment – ideally of AI models
• PowerShell (solid hands-on) for deployment – ideally of AI models
• Azure Foundry (at least an understanding or some experience of what it is / how it works) & OpenAI
• General Azure knowledge & experience
• Understanding of best practices & strong communication skills
• Recent experience within major Financial Services (highly desirable)
• Ideal Certification: Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102).
