Year 4 Teacher

We are recruiting for a Year 4 Teacher for a Primary School in Liverpool (L4) to work on a long-term basis starting immediately!

The Year 4 Teacher role is to start immediately- Feb 2026. There are 30 children in the class and there is one full-time TA working on a one-to-one basis with an SEND child. The school would like someone who has previous KS2 teaching experience and someone who has good behaviour management skills. With this Year 4 Teacher role they are looking for someone who is also confident to deliver the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Your role & responsibilities:

• Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
• Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
• Managing behaviour
• Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

• You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
• Hold QTS
• Knowledge of the national curriculum
• Be passionate and understanding
• Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
• Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
• Good communication skills
