Job description

We are working with an international US law firm based in London for an Associate to join their Antitrust & Competition team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an international Antitrust & Competition team, advising clients on EU and UK competition law and regulatory matters. Responsibilities include supporting merger control investigations before the EU and UK authorities, coordinating multi-jurisdictional merger and foreign direct investment approvals.

The role also includes advising on behavioural matters such as anti-competitive conduct, abuse of dominance, and market investigations, while also working with corporate teams on transactional matters, liaising with regulators, preparing filings and submissions among other duties.

Essential Criteria:

• 1-6 years’ PQE;
• Strong antitrust/competition law background;
• Proactive attitude;
• Commercial awareness;
• Technically excellent;
• Strong communication and client management skills;
• Team-oriented.
