Lumino is looking for a Clinic Manager - Medical Cannabis Industry

Job description

Clinic Manager

Medical Cannabis Industry

UK | Full Time | Fully Remote Model – You must be based in the UK.

You must have experiance in the Medical Cannabis Sector to be considered. Please do not apply unless you have worked in the Medical Cannabis sector.

Company Overview

Our client is a newly established, CQC registered medical cannabis clinic preparing for a formal launch in the UK.

The business has been founded by an experienced healthcare team with a strong track record in regulated environments.

One of the founders is a long-standing GP with extensive experience operating within private healthcare. Another founder has built and managed her own CQC regulated private clinic for more than seven years, overseeing clinical governance, inspections, patient management, operational delivery, growth and strategy. A third member of the founding team is also the founder of one of the UK’s leading established medical cannabis cultivation businesses, bringing direct experience of regulation, product standards and supply chain within the sector. The regulatory groundwork has been completed and CQC licences have been secured since September.

The clinic is now in its final pre-launch phase ahead of its planned March launch. The founding team are building out their prescriber network, refining the end-to-end patient journey and ensuring operational processes are fully structured before going live. The core infrastructure is largely in place, with approximately ninety percent of the operational build completed and only final refinements across systems, workflows and hiring remaining ahead of launch.

To support both this final build phase and the transition into live operations, the founders are hiring a full time Clinic Manager to take full ownership of clinic operations and play a central role in defining how the service is delivered from day one.

Role Overview

At present, one of the founders is overseeing day to day clinic operations alongside strategic responsibilities. As patient volumes increase and clinician numbers expand, the business now requires an experienced operational leader to take full ownership of the clinic function to allow the founder to focus more on commercial growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role in an early-stage but regulated healthcare environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, compliantly and efficiently as it scales.

You will work closely with the founders and clinicians, taking responsibility for operational structure, workflows, documentation, and performance standards.

This is not an administrative position. This is an opportunity to build and shape the operational backbone of a regulated healthcare service from the start. We're looking for experienced individuals who can provide direction and help shape the business moving forward.

If you are not comfortable working in a startup environment, this role will not be the right fit. But if you thrive in startups or have been looking for that type of experiance and enjoy building something meaningful from the ground up, this could be a genuinely exciting opportunity.
