About the Company



Redbanx Ltd is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst to join our high‑performing team within a UK‑regulated Electronic Money Institution.



If you're a hands‑on compliance professional who thrives in fast‑paced fintech environments, this role offers real ownership, impact, and broad exposure across financial crime, regulatory compliance, and operational controls.



About the Role


Responsibilities


Client Onboarding & Due Diligence

  • Lead onboarding for corporate and individual clients
  • Conduct KYC/KYB reviews, including EDD
  • Enhance onboarding workflows and automated screening tools
  • Ensure decisions align with FCA standards and risk appetite


Financial Crime Monitoring

  • Perform transaction monitoring and investigations
  • Support the internal SAR process
  • Conduct periodic/event‑driven customer reviews
  • Manage sanctions, PEP, and adverse media alerts


Policies & Framework Development

  • Draft and maintain AML/CTF policies and procedures
  • Support financial crime risk assessments
  • Ensure alignment with FCA rules, MLR 2017, and JMLSG guidance


Audit & Regulatory Support

  • Assist with internal/external audits
  • Drive remediation and close findings
  • Produce MI for senior management and the Board
  • Support FCA and banking partner queries


Process Improvements & Automation

  • Identify control enhancements and efficiency gains
  • Support roll‑out of compliance tools and automation
  • Collaborate with operations, product, and tech teams




Qualifications

Essential:

  • 3–6 years’ experience in financial crime or compliance - please do not apply expecting an upgrade as there is not the budget for it.
  • Experience in an FCA‑regulated firm (EMI, PI, fintech)
  • Strong knowledge of KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, AML/CTF
  • Experience with onboarding/screening tools
  • Audit or regulatory review exposure
  • Excellent written skills (policies, reports, guidance)


Nice to Have:

  • EMI or payments experience
  • Understanding of safeguarding or operational controls
  • Experience preparing Board‑level MI
  • Strong grasp of FCA, MLR 2017, and JMLSG expectations
