Our client, a leading provider in the UK general insurance market, is seeking a Technical Pricing Manager to join their high-performing Retail Pricing team.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pricing professional to lead the delivery and development of Retail Pricing models and optimisations, using innovative and cutting-edge modelling approaches.


You’ll take ownership of end-to-end model delivery across Personal Lines products, helping to shape Pricing strategy and drive commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:


· Develop and maintain end-to-end predictive pricing models using a bespoke pricing pipeline

· Use Earnix/Radar to optimise customer prices and improve performance

· Lead R&D initiatives to enhance existing modelling methodologies

· Collaborate with Data Science, Commercial, and Governance teams to drive insight and strategy

· Ensure compliance with pricing governance frameworks and internal controls

· Mentor and coach junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth


About You:

· Experienced Pricing or Actuarial professional with a background in General Insurance

· Skilled in statistical programming (e.g. Python, R) and machine learning techniques

· Proficient with pricing optimisation tools such as Emblem, Earnix or Radar

· Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering value through technical Pricing

· Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

· Proven leadership or mentoring experience, with a collaborative and proactive mindset
