Project Manager - Store Design (Beauty)

Job description

I am working with a global beauty brand who are looking for a snr creative ops manager/PM to join on a 6 month contract.

The client is looking for a someone who can lead the delivery of store refits, new store openings, relocations etc. Ideally you have previous premium beauty experience or retail.

Start date: Ideally Asap (can be flexible for short-term notice periods)

Day rate: up to £350

IR35 status: This role sits inside IR35 so you must go through an Umbrella company

Hybrid working: 3 days on-site (Central London) 2 days WFH

Role Summary

Senior Creative Operations Manager responsible for leading multi-site capital and OPEX investment and creative delivery programmes across new store openings, refurbishments, relocations, VM launches and updates, and asset upgrade initiatives.

Accountable for full project lifecycle ownership — from strategic planning and design coordination through construction delivery and operational handover — ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time, and within approved CAPEX & OPEX budgets.

Acts as a strategic connector between Brand, Construction, Finance, Procurement, Global stakeholders, and Operational teams to ensure commercially disciplined, technically robust, and brand-aligned execution.

Experience & Knowledge

• 7+ years in Retail, Property, Construction, or Multi-site Capital Project environments.
• Proven end-to-end management of construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
• Strong understanding of building services, facilities, and retail environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing significant CAPEX and OPEX budgets with full financial accountability.
• Experience working cross-functionally within matrix organisations.
• Office 365 proficiency (Excel is essential).
• Strong technical literacy including CAD interpretation.
