Leveraged Finance Associate/Senior Associate 1-7PQE

Job description

A leading City law firm is keen to speak with Leveraged Finance Associates (2-6 PQE) interested in exploring opportunities within its highly regarded Finance practice in London.

In this role, you can expect to advise private equity sponsors, alternative credit providers, corporates, and banks on a broad range of leveraged and acquisition finance transactions. The team is recognised for its involvement in complex UK and cross-border matters, including private equity-backed buyouts, private credit and direct lending transactions, recapitalisations, refinancings, unitranche structures, and broader corporate lending work.

The ideal candidate will be an England & Wales qualified solicitor with between 2–6 years’ post-qualification experience in leveraged finance, ideally gained at a leading City, US or international firm. Candidates should have strong drafting skills, commercial awareness, and experience working on sponsor-backed and lender-side transactions.

NB. I am also working across several other Leveraged Finance mandates spanning Elite US, Global, and Magic Circle firms in London.
