The Manchester College is investing millions of pounds into the future of engineering education at our Openshaw Campus — and this is just the beginning.
As part of a major expansion within our ACEL Department (Automotive, Construction, Engineering & Logistics), our Engineering provision is growing exponentially, with new facilities, new courses, and significantly increased student numbers launching for the 2026–2027 academic year.
This growth is significant! Not only are we producing the next generation of engineers, but we are also meet the needs of the GMCA (Greater Manchester Combined Authority) skills plan.
