Job Title: Housing Disrepair Solicitor


Location: SW London


Salary: £40,000 basic + uncapped bonus (OTE easily between £10,000 - £15,000)


Job Type: Permanent/ Office based


An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join a leading London claimant law firm. This is a permanent, office-based role, perfect for a Solicitor with Housing Disrepair experience looking to work on a high-quality caseload and progress their career within a respected specialist team.

The firm is one of London’s largest housing disrepair specialists, with over 8 years’ experience and a current caseload of 4,000+ ongoing claims.


The Role:

You will manage your own Housing Disrepair caseload and work to achieve the best outcome for clients, whether via alternative dispute resolution or court proceedings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling Housing Disrepair claims from instruction to conclusion
  • Applying the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Disrepair cases
  • Understanding and applying relevant legislation, including common law nuisance
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
  • Liaising with experts and negotiating settlements
  • Maintaining excellent client care


What We’re Looking For:

  • UK-qualified Solicitor with 1–2 years PQE in Housing Disrepair
  • Strong knowledge of procedural and practical aspects of Housing Disrepair litigation
  • Confident managing a caseload independently
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Pragmatic approach to achieving client outcomes
  • Willing to work 100% in the office
