Exclusive search via The Advocate Group
The Advocate Group is proud to be exclusively supporting a globally recognised, fast-FMCG brand in the search for a Technical Specialist to join their EMEA Operations team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious early-career technical professional looking to gain real exposure to international manufacturing, product launches, and cross-functional collaboration within a high-performance FMCG environment.
The Role
This is a hands-on, execution-focused position supporting the implementation of new products into manufacturing sites across Europe.
Working closely with QA, QC, NPD and Supply Chain teams, you’ll play a key role in production trials, ensuring new products are technically qualified, compliant, and ready for full-scale production.
You’ll be regularly on-site at manufacturing partners across EMEA, gaining invaluable exposure to factory environments, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute manufacturing trials across EMEA sites
- Prepare and maintain trial plans, reports and site-specific documentation
- Conduct product tasting and quality assessments against standards
- Work closely with QA and QC to manage compliance and mitigate risk
- Coordinate reference samples and track product release timelines
- Build strong working relationships with third-party manufacturers
- Manage technical tasks within internal systems to ensure project delivery
About You
- Exposure to manufacturing, food/beverage production, quality, or product development
- Comfortable working in factory environments and engaging with site teams
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communicator with a willingness to learn
- Open to international travel (up to 50%)
This role is ideal for someone who wants development, responsibility and exposure — not just routine lab or office work.
