Job description

Igne are seeking a Sales Executive to join the team. We are looking for someone to drive new business, build client relationships and support our busy laboratory and field-testing teams.


A full UK driving licence and willingness to work away from home are essential. As a Sales Executive you will help drive growth across Igne’s Midlands and Southern region. The role will be based from Daventry with options for hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Executive will support the identification of new clients across the Midlands and surrounding counties.
  • Help build strong relationships with contractors, engineers and consultants.
  • Attend client meetings and site visits with senior colleagues to gain hands-on experience.
  • Represent Igne at industry shows, networking events and client open days.
  • Build a basic understanding of competitor offerings and pricing trends.
  • Maintain our CRM system and support National Sales Manager with commercial initiatives nationally.


What We’re Looking For:

  • A confident self-starter who has the drive to facilitate new business and support the organisations growth targets.
  • Comfortable with outbound sales including calls and messages.
  • Awareness of or exposure to the main contractor, earthworks and tier 2 market in some capacity is desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Someone with the confidence to have discussions with people of all levels, a strong communicator who is comfortable presenting or willing to be trained to be.
  • Organised and reliable with the ability to prioritise and see tasks through to completion.
  • Applications will be considered from entry level sales staff in similar industries.
  • Must have a full UK driving licence / willing to work away on occasion
