Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer – Building Services
London (Hybrid Working)
Are you a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer looking to step into a role where you can lead projects, influence design, and be part of a genuinely supportive team?
An established building services consultancy is looking to strengthen its London team, offering the chance to work on a varied portfolio of high-quality projects across sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments. You’ll be based in a modern, well-appointed office environment, with the flexibility of hybrid working.
The Role
- Lead mechanical design across all RIBA stages
- Deliver HVAC and public health solutions on complex projects
- Act as a key contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Support project delivery, technical reviews, and resourcing
- Mentor and develop junior engineers
About You
- Strong experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy
- Solid knowledge of UK regulations and best practice
- Confident leading projects and building client relationships
- Chartered or working towards (desirable)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
