Freelance Senior Service Designer

Job description

We are currently hiring for a freelance/contract Senior Service Design contract working with a large financial services client. You will be working closely with them on re-shaping internal tools and systems as part of a wider UCD team.

The business are currently re-shaping a number of internal tools, services, and systems, and as such need to bring on a further contractor with deep expertise in mapping and designing complex services and workflows, comprising of both digital and non-digital processes.

There are a few "must-haves" for this role, not least that you will need to be a specialised Service Designer, with deep expertise in Design Research, Journey mapping, and Service Blueprinting, but you will also need:

∙ To be a commutable distance to Sheffield (you will be here twice per week).

∙ Financial Services experience (Retail or business banking).

UK-Based, twice per week on-site in Sheffield (3-days remote).

£550 per day (Inside IR35 - Must work via a compliant Umbrella company).

3-month initial contract with likely extension to 6-12 months.

(Please note, upon acceptance of this contract there will be a period of 2-3 weeks of background checks prior to starting).
