Role: 1st Line IT Support Engineer

Location: Warrington

Work Pattern: In Office

Salary: £25,000-28,000

Key Responsibilities:

As the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the business running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1st Line technical support to users across the organisation.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Assisting with server maintenance and basic networking tasks.
• Escalating complex issues to senior engineers while learning from them.
• Contributing to IT projects and infrastructure improvements.

Key skills:

Essential:

• Experience in an IT support or customer-facing technical role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Servers, and basic Networking.
• A genuine passion for IT and developing your career.
• A driven, motivated, and proactive mindset.

Desirable:

• Home labs, self-learning, or technical certifications
• Full UK driving licence
• IT Apprenticeship or Degree
• Clear interest in progressing into Infrastructure or Engineering roles
