Job Title: MMA Stick / TIG Welder (Stainless Steel)

Location: Acton, London

Rate: £39.24 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract: 6-Month Rolling Contract

We are recruiting for an experienced Stick / TIG Welder to support a major London transport infrastructure maintenance programme based in Acton.

The Role

You will undertake welding and fabrication works on stainless steel components, including repairs, modifications, and installation of mechanical and structural assets within a rail depot environment.

Key Duties

• MMA (Stick) and TIG welding on stainless steel
• Fabrication, repair, and modification of brackets, pipework, and supports
• Working from engineering drawings and WPS
• Grinding and finishing welds to required quality standards

Requirements

• Level 3 Welding Qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Proven experience in MMA (Stick) and TIG welding
• Experience welding stainless steel
