Swift Education is supporting an Independent secondary school in South West London in the appointment of an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a smaller, well-resourced setting that prioritises pastoral care, academic progress and individualised support.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons to students with identified additional needs
- Support pupils with EHCPs and differentiated learning plans
- Work closely with the SENCo, pastoral team and subject teachers
- Track progress and adapt provision to ensure strong academic outcomes
- Foster a structured, supportive and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate
- QTS (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Experience teaching within an SEN or specialist setting at secondary level
- Strong understanding of ASD, ADHD, SEMH or moderate learning needs
- Confident adapting curriculum content to meet individual learning profiles
- Calm, consistent and relationship-focused approach
