Automation QA / SDET
Location: Remote-first (occasional client travel)
Salary: £60k-80K + benefits & pension

SR2 is working with a very exciting consultancy who are small but very mighty! They are a high-calibre technical consultancy who build things that matter, delivering enterprise solutions across regulated industries, in complex consulting environments. We’re helping them to recruit for a Automation QA / SDET with a strong software development mindset, to help ensure enterprise-grade quality across modern web platforms.
The Role
- Design and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for Angular (18+) frontends and .NET 8 backends (Playwright, Cypress or similar).
- Lead technical quality assurance across complex regulatory systems (AML, KYC, compliance).
- Review code (C#, TypeScript) to ensure best practice, security and performance.
- Define and deliver test strategies for enterprise clients.
- Perform API and integration testing across RESTful services and microservices.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and modern engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience with Angular 18+ and .NET 8 (ASP.NET Core, EF).
- Proven UI/E2E automation experience.
- Familiarity with Azure and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
- Experience in regulated industries or a technical consultancy environment.
- Confident communicator in Agile delivery teams.
- Right to work in the UK
