Cyber Security and Information Assurance Consultant – Cheltenham, UK

• Up to £90,000 depending on experience
• Active eDV clearance required
• 4 days onsite per week

ABOUT THE CLIENT

We are partnering with a specialist consultancy delivering complex and mission critical programmes within the UK National Security domain. Their teams operate at the forefront of secure system delivery, supporting sensitive government initiatives.

Due to continued growth and programme demand, they are seeking experienced Cyber Security and Information Assurance Consultants to join their Cheltenham team.

THE CYBER SECURITY AND INFORMATION ASSURANCE CONSULTANT ROLE

As a Cyber Security and Information Assurance Consultant, you will deliver security assurance and risk management expertise across highly classified programmes.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting accreditation and governance activities
• Conducting security risk assessments and assurance reviews
• Contributing to secure system design and architecture discussions
• Engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Leading client engagements and shaping security strategy at Principal level

CYBER SECURITY AND INFORMATION ASSURANCE CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Experience working within classified or highly secure environments
• Strong knowledge of UK government security standards
• Background in information assurance, governance and risk management
• Confident stakeholder engagement skills
