Product Development & Strategy Manager

Job description

Our client, a global asset manager is looking to expand their product development & strategy team. This role will primarily focus on supporting with the development and launch of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and support the end-to-end fund development process, from initial concept through to launch and ongoing product enhancements
• Manage product changes, oversee approvals, documentation, and governance processes for fund launches, closures, mergers and regulatory updates
• Conduct market research, feasibility assessments and competitor analysis to inform product strategy
• Prepare and present materials for product governance committees
• Act as a primary contact for internal stakeholders and external partners
• Support Client teams with fund-related information, due diligence responses and investor communications
• Prepare, review and maintain fund documentation such as prospectuses, KIIDs, supplements and regulatory filings
• Assist senior product leadership on ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar product roles within asset management industry
• Proven experience in developing and implementing fund changes
• Strong understanding of investment fund structures, including UCITS, AIFs, OEICs
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism and reliability
