Contract Manager /Business Manager – Lead, Innovate, and Drive Success!

Salary: up to £62k + 15% bonus, car/car allowance, medical cover, pension

Location: Tendring, Essex

The Role:

This role is all about managing a large workforce, operations and people, the business is growing at a fast rate.

• Operations - ensure the commercial performance of the contract, overseeing all expenditure, staffing, and resources.
• Leadership – managing a diverse workforce, lead the team and maintain a visible presence for employees encouraging good working relationships within a unionised environment
• Financials – managing the contract budget through effective cost control
• Health & Safety – responsible for the safety at the depot and the safety of the vehicles and drivers, IOSH qualified, ideally NEBOSH qualified

About You:

We’re seeking a visionary leader who can transform strategies into action and inspire teams to perform at their best. You should have:

• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or equivalent experience).
• A strong background in business acumen and operational management.
• Financial management expertise, with experience in producing and presenting financial models and business plans.
• Transport Manager CPC
• A passion for leading high-performing teams and driving transformation and change.
