Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Civil Design Lead to own and deliver civil engineering design for utility-scale renewable energy projects. You’ll lead design from concept to construction, ensuring compliance, performance, and constructability while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead civil design for PV and BESS projects (site layouts, grading, drainage, access roads).
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analysis.
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UK planning, environmental, and CDM standards.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, electrical, and construction teams.
• Provide technical support during construction and permitting processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering; Chartered status preferred.
• Proven experience in civil design for infrastructure or renewable projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
