Job description
We are seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to support works on the Sizewell C project. This role requires a capable and well-rounded Project Manager who can manage the full project lifecycle — from contract award through to delivery — while maintaining strong client and customer relationships in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage trackside civils works from contract award to final delivery
- Lead drainage, crossings, and excavation packages
- Oversee site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Maintain strong client and customer relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, quality, and safety requirements
- Manage commercial performance with full understanding of NEC contracts
- Control change, risk, and cost throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering trackside civils projects
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification – essential
- Strong experience in drainage, level crossings, and excavation works
- Demonstrable ability to manage projects from award through delivery
- Excellent commercial knowledge with a strong understanding of NEC contracts
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Well-organised, proactive, and delivery-focused
Not Required
- No P-Way or OLE experience required
Package
- £400–£450 per day, open to negotiation
- Flexibility for lodging allowances or higher rates depending on experience
- Long-term opportunity (2+ years) on a major infrastructure project
