Private Funds Senior Associate

Job description

Opportunity to join a leading International Law firm from London (HQ); working in synergy with offices across all major financial hubs.

The group are best known for advising across PE, VC & RE Funds; its predominantly a UK & EU centric practice, with investment to further build Mid-Market PE Funds.

Whilst the work is UK & EU led, deals will also involve working with your counterparts across US & Asia - especially on the VC/ Tech side.

London team structure means mentorship from Partners, support from Associates – and a specific gap at Senior Associate, hence the need to strengthen this level and offer clear progression pathway.

Whilst they don’t formerly publicise targets, we know Associates in this team and wider Corporate & Finance groups are averaging 1,650 – 1,700 Chargeable Hours, (which is above the threshold needed for Bonus).

Overall a really good balance of high quality work & longevity; without going into the SC/MC/US territory of 1,800 - 2,200 Hours +

• You must be England & Wales Qualified
• Currently working in London with a Top 50 UK, Global or US firm
• 3-8PQE
• (If you are 1-3PQE, happy to discuss the potential of Associate level)
• (If you are 8PQE+, happy to discuss the potential of Counsel level)
