Operations Specialist – Financial Services (CFD)

Location: London

Full time in the office (5 days a week)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Are you currently working in a CFD operations environment?

Strong with cash & stock reconciliations and comfortable resolving breaks daily?

Confident using SQL or Python to support operational reporting and controls?

I’m working with a growing financial services firm looking for an Operations Specialist to join their team.

This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll be responsible for:

• Daily operational processing across securities and cash
• Performing and resolving reconciliations (positions & balances)
• Investigating and clearing aged breaks
• Liaising with custodians, brokers and internal teams
• Maintaining strong controls and audit trails
• Supporting process improvements and UAT testing

They need someone who can hit the ground running, understands post-trade flows, and has a strong control mindset.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience within the CFD industry

• Strong reconciliation experience

• SQL or Python knowledge

• Solid understanding of equities, bonds or funds

• Strong Excel skills
