We are working with a leading UK property owner with a substantial commercial real estate portfolio who is looking to appoint an Asset Manager to join their Scotland-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with 2–3 years’ experience to take the next step in their career within a well-capitalised, long-term investor with a strong reputation in the UK market. You will gain exposure to a high-quality and diverse commercial portfolio while developing your asset management expertise within a supportive and experienced team.
The Role
As Junior Asset Manager, you will support the strategic management of a portfolio of commercial assets, helping to drive income performance and long-term value. Working closely with senior asset managers, investment, leasing and development teams, as well as external managing agents and advisors, you will play an active role in day-to-day asset management initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation and implementation of asset business plans
- Supporting leasing activity, including rent reviews, lease renewals and regears
- Liaising with managing agents and monitoring operational performance
- Assisting with asset-level budgets, forecasts and reporting
- Supporting refurbishment and value-add initiatives
- Contributing to investment and disposal processes, including due diligence
- Helping ensure assets align with ESG and sustainability objectives
About You
- 2–3 years’ experience within commercial property (agency, asset management or consultancy background)
- Good understanding of UK commercial property markets (office, retail, industrial or mixed-use)
- Strong analytical and financial skills with attention to detail
- Commercial mindset with a desire to develop asset management expertise
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders
- RICS qualified or actively working towards qualification preferred
