We’re seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to manage a portfolio of complex IT projects, leading internal teams and third-party suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership, commercial oversight, and senior stakeholder engagement, with accountability for delivering measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-million-pound IT projects (Agile & Waterfall)
• Manage internal teams and outsourced suppliers to ensure successful execution
• Own project scope, governance, risk, and financial management
• Develop business cases and present at investment/decision forums
• Align delivery with wider portfolio and business strategy
• Identify and manage interdependencies, risks, and blockers
• Oversee supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and performance
• Ensure accurate reporting on progress, risks, and financials
• Drive smooth transition into BAU operations

Experience Required

• Proven track record delivering complex IT programmes in fast-paced environments
• Experience working within outsourced delivery models
• Strong commercial and financial management capability
• Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
• Strong governance, risk, and change management expertise
• Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguity

Desirable:

Government/regulated industry experience, cloud/big data/automation exposure, ERP or enterprise systems knowledge, familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello or Asana.
