Estimator – Commercial Interiors

Location: Colchester, Essex

Sector: Suspended Ceilings / Drylining / Interior Fit-Out

An established and respected commercial interiors contractor is seeking an Estimator to join their team based in Colchester. With decades of experience in the industry, the business delivers a wide range of interior packages across commercial, education, healthcare and leisure projects throughout the South East and East Anglia.

The Role

You will be responsible for pricing and preparing competitive tenders across a variety of interior fit-out works, working closely with the pre-construction and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for suspended ceilings, dry lining, partitions and associated interior works
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Producing clear and professional tender submissions
• Supporting value engineering and post-tender clarifications

About You

• Previous experience estimating within the interior fit-out / drylining / ceilings sector
• Strong understanding of commercial interiors packages
• Confident working from drawings and specifications
• Organised, detail-driven and commercially aware
