About the Role

Urban Revivo, a fashion brand under the FMG Group, is expanding in the UK. We are seeking a fashion-led Fabric Buyer - Woven with a strong eye for structure, drape and surface interest, and how they translate into modern, commercial garments.

This is a fabric-focused buying role, centred on sourcing and selecting commercially relevant woven fabrics from suppliers, rather than leading large-scale fabric innovation. It is ideal for someone who thinks in silhouettes when reviewing fabrics and can immediately recognise how a woven quality could be used and whether in tailored pieces, structured dresses, fluid midis, statement shirts or elevated outer layers.

You will play a key role in shaping the seasonal woven fabric direction, using fabric knowledge and fashion judgement to influence product and design decisions within a fast fashion context.

What You’ll Do

• Research, source and select woven fabrics aligned with seasonal trends, brand direction and target price architecture
• Evaluate fabrics based on structure, drape, texture and end-use suitability across different garment categories
• Translate fabric qualities into clear garment and product suggestions, influencing design decisions at an early stage
• Curate and build a seasonal woven fabric offering that balances fashion relevance with commercial viability
• Work closely with Designers and cross-functional teams to shape product direction through fabric-led judgement
• Liaise directly with mills and suppliers to identify suitable existing qualities, with occasional collaborative development where required

(Note: The focus of this role is sourcing and selection rather than large-scale fabric R&D.)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong fashion sensibility with a deep interest in woven fabrics and garment construction
• Ability to visualise silhouettes and product categories directly from fabric
• Experience in fabric-focused buying, sourcing or development, ideally within a fast fashion or high-volume environment
• Solid understanding of fibres, weaves, finishes and how they impact drape, structure and performance
• Commercial mindset with awareness of margin, price positioning and product strategy
• Confident communicator, comfortable working directly with suppliers and influencing cross-functional teams
