Credit Analyst – Infrastructure & Project Finance


Are you a Credit Analyst seeking a fresh challenge where your work directly supports sustainable infrastructure development across emerging markets? This is an opportunity to join a high performing, mission driven credit team working on complex transactions that transform communities.


The Role

You’ll play a key role in assessing and managing credit risk across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and project finance transactions. Working closely with investment, finance, legal, and ESG specialists, you’ll review new deals, evaluate risk profiles, analyse financial statements and models, and contribute to structuring solutions that strengthen each transaction.


Your work will span sectors such as power generation, transport, water, manufacturing, and financial services, covering both project finance and corporate borrowers. You’ll also help maintain and refine risk frameworks, including PD and LGD scorecards, and contribute to portfolio reporting for senior management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent credit assessments on pipeline and portfolio transactions
  • Analyse financial statements, review borrower models, and run sensitivities
  • Produce clear, concise credit notes and present findings to senior stakeholders
  • Recommend structural enhancements and support review of transaction documentation
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams across the deal cycle
  • Support ongoing development of credit risk frameworks and portfolio reporting
  • Assist with committee processes and other team administrative duties


About You

  • Strong experience in credit risk analyst gained at a bank, DFI, or rating agency.
  • Solid understanding of project finance, infrastructure transactions.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Exposure to frontier or developing markets (advantageous)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, detail oriented, and comfortable working independently in a collaborative, multicultural environment
