£65.00 per hour Umbrella

Part time hours (10-20 hours per week)

12 Month Contract

Our client is currently searching for a Medical Information Specialist to join their team in Reading on a part time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert and critically evaluate scientific literature to ensure timely and accurate responses to medical inquiries from customers around the globe.
• Understand analytics and insight generation framework while building foundational analytical skills to support informed decision-making.
• Assist in developing training materials and delivering product training
• Proficiently use digital tools to enhance daily operations.

Experience / Skills Required:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in medical information, medical affairs, or related fields.
• Experience in Women’s Healthcare and Cardiovascular
• University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or equivalent. (Advanced degree [e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD] preferred, not essential.)
• Experience responding to medical inquiries in writing, preferred
• Experience in developing medical information content (local or global), conducting critical reviews and demonstrating strong medical writing skills is an asset
• Proven experience working in digital databases. Experience with Veeva, salesforce, AI, Power BI is an asset.
• Experience contributing to cross-functional teams.
• Experience in supporting projects that improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Excellent spoken and written English; fluency in other languages is an asset.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to building positive partnerships.
