A really exciting opportunity has arisen at a top tier US law firm who are leading the way in technology and AI for an innovation specialist paralegal to support the fee earners.
The Role
You will be embedded in the competition / antitrust team and assist the lawyers in merger reviews, investigations and regulatory matters from a technology perspective.
You will take time with the team to understand their requirements and then liaise with the third party provider of the software to set up the tools to be used effectively which will include building and testing the AI prompts.
The role will also include horizon scanning and adopting new technology as it arises, especially GenAI tools. There will be an element of project and change management involved to ensure the successful roll out of new legal tech products.
Alongside this you will assist with know-how and training for the team.
The Requirements
It is anticipated you will have a law degree / GDL / SQE1 and will either be an experienced competition / antitrust paralegal who has experience with legal technology and AI. Or currently be in a legal tech / innovation role and seeking a new challenge.
