Internal Recruitment Consultant
City of London - 4 days in Office
Full-time | Permanent
£27,500 – £32,500 + Commission (OTE £50k Year 1)
A fast-growing, London-based asset ownership and luxury retail business is hiring an Internal Recruitment Consultant to support recruitment across the organisation.
Specialising in fine wine, rare spirits and premium consumer goods, this is a unique opportunity to join a scaling business investing heavily in its people, infrastructure and long-term growth.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, ideal for someone early in their recruitment career who wants broad exposure across multiple departments.
The Role
As an Internal Recruitment Consultant, you’ll support end-to-end hiring across areas including:
- Sales & Retail
- Marketing & e-Commerce
- Operations
- Administration & Support
You will work closely with hiring managers to understand requirements, source suitable candidates, and manage a smooth recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand hiring needs and role briefs
- Set up and create the recruitment systems – job boards, CRM’s etc…
- Support creation and refinement of job specs and adverts
- Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards and referrals
- Conduct CV screening and initial telephone/video interviews
- Manage candidate communication and interview coordination
- Maintain recruitment records, pipelines and reporting
- Contribute to process improvements as the internal function develops
About You
- 2 years’ recruitment experience (agency or in-house)
- Show career progression in your CV
- Strong tenure in job history
- Confident sourcing and screening across varied role types
- Strong communication skills with candidates and stakeholders
- Highly organised, proactive and detail-focused
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving SME environment
- Experience hiring for sales, marketing, ops or admin roles is a plus
- No sector experience required
Commission per hire:
£500 each
Realistic OTE:
- Year 1: £50,000
- Year 2: £70,000 – £75,000
- Year 3: £100,000
Plus, quarterly discretionary bonus.
