Job description

We are looking for a personable, proactive Community Associate to support the day-to-day operation of a premium serviced office in Central London.


This is a front-facing, hospitality-led role at the heart of the workspace. The Community Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience, supporting building operations, and helping to foster a welcoming, professional and vibrant community.

The ideal candidate will be service-driven, highly organised, and comfortable juggling front-of-house duties with operational and administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities

Member Experience & Front of House

  • Act as the first point of contact for members and guests
  • Deliver a warm, professional and consistent front-of-house experience
  • Manage reception, including visitor sign-in and access control
  • Build positive relationships with members and understand their needs
  • Handle member enquiries and requests promptly and professionally
  • Support the onboarding of new members and companies
  • Ensure meeting rooms and communal areas are set up and maintained to a high standard

Community & Engagement

  • Help foster a positive, inclusive and professional community atmosphere
  • Support the planning and delivery of member events and activations
  • Communicate building updates and community information to members
  • Encourage member engagement and day-to-day interaction

Operations & Facilities Support

  • Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the workspace
  • Liaise with cleaning, maintenance and other service providers
  • Report and follow up on maintenance issues
  • Carry out regular checks of the space to ensure presentation standards are met
  • Support stock management (pantry supplies, stationery, amenities)
  • Assist with health & safety procedures and building compliance

Administration & Systems

  • Manage bookings for meeting rooms and shared spaces
  • Update internal systems and member records
  • Support invoicing, mail handling and deliveries
  • Assist the Community Manager with reporting and ad-hoc administrative tasks


Person Specification

Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality, retail, serviced offices, hotels or similar)
  • Experience in a serviced office, co-working or flexible workspace environment is desirable but not essential
