Job Purpose

To safely and efficiently deliver Thamesmead’s cleaning, hygiene, and associated products to customers across London and the South East, providing a reliable, professional, and friendly service at every delivery point.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to a range of customer sites including hotels, offices, FM clients, and commercial premises
• Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring goods are handled with care
• Plan delivery routes effectively to meet schedules and minimise delays
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery accurately
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, acting as a positive ambassador for Thamesmead
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Ensure all deliveries comply with health & safety, manual handling, and road traffic regulations
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy at all times
• Communicate effectively with the office regarding delays, issues, or customer feedback

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Full UK driving licence (clean or with minimal points)
• Experience in a multi-drop delivery role in London
• Good knowledge of London and South East road networks
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organised

Desirable

• Experience delivering to commercial or hospitality customers
• License with 7.5-tonne vehicles
• Basic use of handheld delivery devices or apps
