Remote-first (UK - Ideally Scotland) with occasional travel to client sites and team meet-ups

£75,000-90,000 + Benefits

MBN have partnered with a innovative Data & AI Consultancy exclusively in supporting the hiring of a Senior AI Engineer into the team.

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and ship AI-native systems that actually get used. You’ll work on LLM-powered workflows, RAG pipelines, agents, and orchestration layers — with strong engineering standards and real-world constraints.

• Build production-grade AI systems in Python
• Work with LLMs, vector DBs, RAG, and agent frameworks
• Own delivery end-to-end (design → deploy → observe)
• Collaborate with technical founders and a strong engineering team
• Help define AI engineering best practices

We’re growing our AI engineering team and looking for a Senior AI Engineer who loves building real systems — not slide decks or endless prototypes. You’ll work closely with technical founders, ship AI into production, and help shape how we build AI responsibly and pragmatically.

• Production AI with monitoring, guardrails, and cost awareness
• Solving real business problems (not AI-for-AI’s-sake)
