MEICA Commissioning Engineer - Contract - Outside IR35 - Shropshire / Staffordshire areas
An experienced MEICA Commissioning Engineer is required to support wastewater treatment upgrade projects across the Midlands for an established water sector engineering contractor.
The Role
- Lead MEICA commissioning on wastewater treatment upgrade schemes
- Commission mechanical, electrical, ICA, control and automation systems
- Manage FAT/SAT, testing, verification and handover
- Produce commissioning plans, test scripts and documentation
- Coordinate with project teams, OEMs and client representatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards

About you
- Proven experience as a MEICA Commissioning Engineer
- Strong background in wastewater treatment upgrades or water utilities
- Competent across mechanical, electrical and ICA systems
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
