Leveraged Finance Lawyer – 12‑Month Maternity Cover
Leading UK Bank | London | Hybrid
A leading UK banking group with a major presence in corporate and institutional lending is seeking an experienced Leveraged Finance Counsel for a 12‑month maternity cover role. This position offers the chance to work within a large, well‑established leveraged finance team on some of the market’s most prominent transactions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting a high‑performing Capital Leveraged Finance team on complex transactions
- Negotiating commitment papers, term sheets, fee grids, and long‑form financing documentation
- Applying strong market knowledge to provide clear, commercial legal guidance
- Collaborating with front‑office and cross‑functional stakeholders across the bank
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified lawyer with solid leveraged finance experience (private practice or in‑house)
- Excellent understanding of market standards (e.g., LMA/LSTA)
- Someone comfortable working in a fast‑paced, transaction‑driven environment
