Job Title: SAP Finance & Tax SME Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance & Tax SME to support and optimize core financial and tax processes within SAP. You will collaborate with Finance, Tax, and IT teams to gather requirements, configure solutions, and drive continuous improvements across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements for GL, Asset Accounting, month-end/year-end closing, and tax processes.
- Configure SAP FI (GL, AA, CO), including chart of accounts, cost centers, internal orders, and asset accounting.
- Manage VAT, GST, withholding tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensure integration with MM, SD, and CO modules and support system interfaces.
- Resolve site-specific issues and collaborate with global teams to deliver projects effectively.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI (GL, AA, CO).
- Solid knowledge of asset accounting, depreciation, and closing activities.
- Experience with SD-FI and MM-FI integration.
- Understanding of cost/profit centers, COPA, and legal compliance (local GAAP).
- Experience in SAP tax reporting (VAT/GST, withholding tax, Intrastat).
