Job Opportunity: Senior Solicitor / Associate – Commercial Real Estate

Location: Glasgow

Overview:

A leading commercial property team is seeking a Senior Solicitor or Associate to join its Glasgow office. This role offers exposure to high‑quality real estate work across investment, development, leasing and asset management, acting for a broad client base including developers, investors, commercial landlords and occupiers. You’ll work within a collaborative and supportive team, taking responsibility for your own matters while contributing to major transactions.

Role Requirements:

• Advising on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases and development projects
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate autonomy
• Preparing, reviewing and negotiating commercial real estate documentation
• Supporting senior team members on complex and high‑value matters
• Providing practical, commercial advice to clients and maintaining ongoing relationships
• Collaborating with colleagues across other departments where transactions overlap

Experience:

• Scottish‑qualified Solicitor with 3–7 years’ PQE (other levels considered)
• Experience in commercial property, including handling your own files
• Background in leasing, investment, development or asset management work

Skills:

• Clear communicator with good drafting ability
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines
• Client‑focused with a collaborative approach
• Commercial awareness and interest in developing client relationships
