Supplier Development Specialist

Job description

I have worked with this client for over 20 years and they have an opening for a Supplier Development Manager/Supply Chain Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is due to the expansion of the team. Based in Stevenage and with hybrid working, they are looking for:-

• Supply Chain professional with experience of International working in high technology companies.
• Experience of Supply Chain Management/Supplier Development Manager ideally within Aerospace, Defence or Manufacturing environments
• High exposure to machining including capacity and capabilities in the machining and aerospace surface treatments environment
• Demonstrate ability to improve Supplier Performance (Delivery and Quality) using appropriate tools and lean methodologies
• Manage a portfolio of suppliers on a day to day basis
• Capable of carrying put capacity audits
• Conducting analysis and providing/delivering executive summaries
• Hold excellent problem solving skills and understanding of techniques such as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control)

In return they offer a salary of £48-50k plus bonus and excellent benefits with hybrid working
