Leverage Finance Associate – Elite US firm- London - Salary 150-250K

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in London is seeking a Leverage Finance Associate to join its established banking and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate to work on complex and high-value leveraged finance transactions within a supportive firm offering flexibility, progression, and a competitive remuneration package.

The Role

From a recruitment perspective, this role offers exposure to a broad range of leveraged finance matters, including:

• Advising lenders, borrowers, and sponsors on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions
• Acting on private equity-backed deals, refinancings, and restructurings
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements
• Managing transaction processes and coordinating with corporate, tax, and regulatory teams
• Advising on covenant packages, security structures, and risk allocation
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex cross-border transactions

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in banking and finance or leveraged finance
• Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills
• Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
• Confident managing transactions and competing deadlines
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a leading London firm
