About the job


Simmons & Hanbury are exclusively mandated on a search for a Legal Counsel for a high calibre pension fund based in London. The role will work alongside a small team of great lawyers, who all worked at leading law firms before making the move in-house. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make their first move into an in-house role.


Key responsibilities

  • Advise on a variety of pension law matters for both members and beneficiaries
  • Maintain compliance and regulatory procedures regarding both pension Ombudsman and Regulator
  • Support instructing external counsel with regards to disputes and contentious pension matters.


Experience requirements

  • Qualified lawyer in the UK with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Have trained and qualified with a leading law firm, within a transactional practice area.
  • Excellent disputes and non-contentious experience.
