Job description
Automotive EV Propulsion Integration through PiL/ViL Testing, Verification & Validation, DOE's and Execution, Vehicle DV Planning & Execution, Rig data analysis, 8D Problem Solving, Strong engineering first principles.
- Design validation, development, integration, and testing of electric propulsion systems, including high-voltage (HV) power systems, electric drive units (EDUs) and Battery
- Design validation through PiL (Powertrain in the Loop) and ViL (Vehicle in the Loop) testing, ensuring the system meets performance and regulatory requirements
- System architecture, software development, calibration, and integration, contributing to the overall EV driving experience
Your responsibilities:
- Developing and executing PiL/ViL test plans
- Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Participating in design reviews and providing feedback
- Contributing to the development of new EV technologies
- Working with software engineers to develop and calibrate control systems
- Ensuring the system meets regulatory and safety requirements
Your Profile
- Good experience in BEV propulsion system, knowledge of HV systems
- Proven experience with PiL/ViL testing and validation
- Test planning and understanding of test standards
- Test data analysis from rigs and compliance to test standards
- Ensure safety functionality
- Understand VSC & calibration knowledge / sensor control
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
- Exposure to AVL / Horiba test rigs
- Problem solving / 8D
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
